Leslie Fabian is our Director of Business Development. She works with our clients to explain the value that our design and procurement platform can add to their hotels. She engages with hotel owners and developers, showcasing how our service will streamline their hotel renovations and new builds.
“My role is to demonstrate to our clients the value of our all-in-one platform through a hands-on approach, allowing them to gain confidence in our product and trust in our team.”
Starting at the front desk, Leslie has gathered over a decade of experience from housekeeping to sales within a variety of brands in Milwaukee and Chicago including IHG (Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn), Marriott (Residence and Fairfield Inn), and Wyndham (Ramada Plaza). Her most recent position had her managing the Midwest market for a hotel interior design and procurement firm, so she is no stranger to the hotel design and renovation process. Through her management position, Leslie had the opportunity to work with brands such as Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Avid, Candlewood, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn, and Hyatt Place projects.
Having worked in hotels on the ground level and also through design and procurement, Leslie understands the needs of her clients. She can anticipate the challenges that will arise throughout a project and she knows exactly what the client is looking for in a solution. Most of all she listens to and consults with her clients, easily adapting to their needs and quickly problem-solving.
“Simply put, my goal is to make my clients happy! I believe that educating my clients about our services, being transparent about our processes, and following up on a consistent basis will allow us to build the trust and foundation needed to have a successful partnership.”
What attracted Leslie to the hospitality industry in the first place and why is she so dedicated to it now?
“The hospitality industry is unique because, while profit is an excellent bonus, the real focus is the experience we can provide to the guests. Whether it’s a comfortable, enjoyable business trip or a luxurious, relaxing escape, we get to make that happen. It’s no longer solely about what our product can offer but the type of overall experience we can provide to our customers, and that’s my favorite part about working in the industry.”
While she wasn’t always clear on her place within it, Leslie has always known that she wanted to work in the hospitality industry. She began studying Hospitality Management with the dream of a career in restaurant management because of her love for food. With ample schooling but no service experience, she struggled to find work in a restaurant and instead landed a job as a Front Desk Agent at the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport where she realized her true love wasn’t food, it was hospitality.
“I’d say it worked out the way it was supposed to. I know that in every role I’ve had, from entry to management level, I’ve had a direct opportunity to create a positive and memorable experience for our customers. I enjoy building thoughtful and genuine relationships with our customers/clients, not because it’s good for business, but because it allows me to contribute positively to someone’s day!”
